Pre-Ceremony
Pre-Retreat: Preparation and Guidance
Pre-Retreat: Preparation and Guidance
Your journey will begin with an introductory phone call with Williak. In that conversation, you will share details about your current situation, the experiences you hope to have, and any challenges or questions regarding your preparation for the ceremonies. During this call, Williak will listen and offer personalized recommendations tailored to your needs. In the days leading up to the ceremony, you will continue this connection through voice notes on WhatsApp or Messenger, deepening your readiness and understanding.
Day One
Welcoming and Introduction to Sacred Spirits
(Tinkunakuy & Machai Kawsay)
Welcome & Introduction (Tinkunakuy)
As dusk settles, we gather in a space prepared with care and ancestral intention. In this Tinkunakuy, every voice is welcomed as we share our personal intentions and open our hearts to the path ahead. This meeting is a deliberate act of coming together—honoring the sacredness of our assembly and laying a foundation of trust and mutual respect that will guide us through our journey.
Machai Psychedelic Chocolate Ceremony (Machai Kawsay)
Under the watchful guidance of Tayta Willak, we participate in the Machai Kawsay ceremony using Machai Psychedelic Chocolate—a gift of the land. This ceremony integrates traditional shamanic practices such as energy cleansing, sound healing, and mindful breathing (Hayni). It is an invitation to step inward, to listen deeply, and to dissolve the barriers that keep us from the wisdom of our inner selves. The ritual is an expression of our collective heritage, a time to reconnect with the traditions that have sustained our people.
Day Two
Communal Breakfast & Grounding Session (Mikuna Tinkunakuy)
At sunrise, we gather for Mikuna Tinkunakuy—a shared meal prepared with locally sourced, traditional ingredients. This communal breakfast is more than nourishment for the body; it is a moment of coming together, of grounding ourselves in the present. The practice that follows reconnects us with the rhythms of the earth, reinforcing the bonds formed the night before and preparing us for the day’s unfolding lessons.
Teaching on Balance & Wholeness (Sami Kawsay Yachay)
In the clear light of morning, our elders and guides lead a session of Sami Kawsay Yachay. Here, teachings focus on harmonizing the inner world with the natural order that surrounds us. Through practical lessons rooted in ancestral wisdom, participants receive tools for maintaining balance—tools that support a steady integration of heart, mind, and spirit in everyday living.
Afternoon
Community Engagement Practice (Minka)
In the spirit of cooperation, we engage in Minka—a time-honored practice of collective work and mutual aid. This shared activity is not merely about accomplishing tasks; it is an act of living our traditions. By working together, we reinforce our connections, each individual’s efforts weaving into the strength of the community and honoring the practice of coming together for the common good.
Communal Lunch & Guided Integrative Rituals (Runa Mikuy & Kawsay Chakay)
At midday, we share Runa Mikuy—a communal lunch that features dishes prepared with respect for local ingredients and culinary traditions. Following the meal, Kawsay Chakay offers guided rituals that help merge the experiences of the day. These integrative practices are designed to root the insights gained from our morning and afternoon sessions into our everyday lives, ensuring that the lessons of the day are carried forward in a natural, grounded manner.
Evening
Ayahuasca Ceremony (Ayahuasca Kawsay)
As night envelops us once more, we enter the Ayahuasca Kawsay ceremony. Led by Tayta Willak and supported by M.Sc. nature-therapist Maja, this ritual is a respectful engagement with the potent plant medicine, ayahuasca. The ceremony invites us to journey inward with honesty and humility, providing space for deep emotional work, clarity of purpose, and healing that arises from facing our inner truths within the embrace of community.
Final Sharing Circle (Tinkunakuy Rimay)
In the close of the evening, we reconvene for Tinkunakuy Rimay—a final circle where each participant is invited to share experiences, insights, and gratitude. This gathering is not an ending, but rather a reaffirmation of our shared path. Through honest dialogue and quiet reflection, we weave the threads of our individual journeys into the broader tapestry of community life, ensuring that the wisdom gained throughout the day continues to nurture us long after the ceremonies conclude.
Post Ceremony Integration
Personal Follow-Up Session
After the retreat, you will have a personal follow-up phone call with Williak. In this reflective session, you will discuss your experiences from the ceremony and explore ways to integrate the insights into your daily life, providing a focused space for processing and deepening your personal healing.
Group Integration Sessions
In the weeks following the retreat, you will join two group Zoom sessions with fellow participants. In these sessions, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and support one another. This collective dialogue will highlight how personal growth and healing are intertwined with the community bonds you build together.
